Day 1: Discovery of cardamom buns

Morning/ Afternoon:

  • Dropped bags at the airbnb in Vesterbro -Hart Bageri for cardamom bun - it was delish.
  • Explored Nyhavn and went to a traditional restaurant for some Smorrebrot.

Evening:

  • Late anniversary celebration at Vaekst where we ate scallops, danish beef and panfried cod.

Day 2: Hot dogs and beer tour

Morning:

  • Got out at around 9am to do an easy 10k around the city where we ran along Sortedams Lake, through the Kastellet (a star shaped fortress to the north of the city) and then past the Rosenbourg castle.
  • Skt Peders Bageri for another cardomom bun.

Afternoon:

  • John's Hotdog Deli next to the station for a traditional Danish hot dog
  • Explored Free Town Christiana in Christianshavn.
  • Norrebro for a lil craft beer tour - we went to Brus and Mikeller and friends
  • Harry's place for another hot dog and this time a pork with crispy cracking sandwich too.

Evening

  • For dinner we went to Warpigs and then to Fermentoren for some more drinks.

Day 3: More food and Copenhot!

Morning:

  • Shopping
  • Smorrbrot and meatballs at Torvehallerne
  • Lamb hotdog from DOP

Afternoon:

  • Copenhot in the industrial peninsula of Refshaleon

Evening:

  • Tommi's burger joint munched back at the flat.

Day 4: Return home
