A short but sweet trip to Ang's sheperds hut.

Day 1: Tall trees

Day 1 of the trip started with breakfast at the hut looking out at the beautiful view. We then headed out in the car to Brockenhurst for the tall trees circular walk, meeting some very friendly donkeys on the way..

The Tall Trees trail is home to two giant redwoods, the biggest trees in the New Forest standing at around 55m tall. It was very cool to see them up close and try to take in their full scale. The walk had some gorgeous scenery and was nice and flat making it v relaxing and enjoyable.

After the walk we stopped for a couple of Guinnesses at the Forester's arms and then went to the Three Lions pub for dinner.

The night ended with red wine and Bananagram.

Day 2: More Guinness

The second day was quite rainy so we ended up having a slow morning and then going for a short walk around Lyndhurst and the surrounding area.

We then headed the Crown and Stirrup for a Guinness and then to the Waterloo Arms for another along with some pub grub.

We came back to the hut and made a carbonara for tea along with more red wine and more Bananagram hehe.

Day 3: Bye to Poppy

We had our last breakfast and quick coffee with Ang before saying goodbye!
